Having tutored throughout high school and college, Matt has served as a mentor to young scholars for over a decade. As a gifted nerd, Matt received a 1550 on his SAT and scored perfect 5’s on 11 different AP Exams. These accolades earned Matt a spot at Dartmouth College, where he graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Theater.

After graduation, Matt decided to experiment with theories of Supply and Demand in practice by pursuing a career in Music and Theater. Matt’s music has been streamed over 10 million times; he’s been featured on SiriusXM on numerous occasions; and he’s toured the country performing for thousands of people. His theater career culminated in a month-long run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with an original musical that Matt wrote, composed, produced, and performed.

Partly because he missed the world of academia and partly because Spotify pays $0.004 per stream, Matt returned to education as his professional calling. Matt prides himself on his ability to navigate difficult concepts with students while maintaining a fun, energetic environment. At GEO, Matt specializes in Economics, Business, Math, Spanish, Chemistry, Physics, and Test Prep for the SAT & ISEE.

When he's not teaching, writing, or performing, Matt enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and golf; watching pretty much any sport; savoring a good bagel or chicken parmesan; and admiring Dachshunds (though he doesn’t yet have one of his own).
