Unlocking Potential Through Mastery

In addition to private tutoring, GEO offers select test-prep courses throughout the year.
Grey Eyed Owl classes are designed to prepare students for major standardized exams. They are delivered virtually and offered in a small group setting. While not a substitute for our boutique tutoring services, classes are beneficial for ambitious students wanting an initial tour through the curriculum; for students desiring a refresh before an upcoming exam; or for small groups of friends or classmates to work through the experience together in a private class setting.
Currently, GEO is only offering SAT classes, which we are running every few months. If you are interested in booking a private class for up to six students, please get in touch. We expect to roll out classes for the ISEE and GRE in the coming year. If you would like to book a private class for those exams, please let us know.

The Grey Eyed Owl SAT Class
“Spoon feeding in the long run teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon.”
-E.M. Forster
At Grey Eyed Owl, the SAT is more than a means to an end. It’s a rite of passage and a critical opportunity to cultivate the intellectual agility that fuels lifelong success.
We prioritize holistic, skills-based learning, knowing that true achievement comes not from gimmicks or tricks, but from mastering the content and analytical mindset which these exams reward.
College Admissions aside, the SAT serves as a veritable benchmark of a young adult’s mastery of quantitative mechanics, qualitative evaluation, and robust critical thinking.
An outstanding SAT score is merely the byproduct of deep understanding that will serve students well far beyond test day - from college to graduate school and into their professional lives.
Crafted by Experts
The Grey Eyed Owl SAT Class was built by educators who have dedicated thousands of hours to teaching and refining the material on standardized tests. These instructors, who themselves scored in the top 1% on the SAT and its ‘big siblings,’ the GMAT and GRE, have seen where other programs fall short — and designed GEO’s course to rise above.
48 Hours of Instruction
While many test prep courses offer only a handful of hours, GEO’s program delivers 48 hours of immersive instruction, allowing for the depth and repetition necessary for genuine mastery. We don’t just skim the surface — we ensure students fully grasp the underlying principles behind every question type.
Small Class Sizes
With a maximum of six students per class, our instructors ensure that each learner receives tailored guidance and support. Every student will complete the course with a custom assessment and study plan, designed to help them continue their progress beyond the classroom.
Study Support
Our instructors emphasize building strong study habits and independent problem-solving skills, providing support through Google Classroom between sessions and live Q&A before class. We don’t just teach students how to take a test — we teach them how to think, how to learn, and how to excel.
Student Focused
Our instructors begin by carefully assessing each student’s starting point, then adjust lesson plans accordingly to ensure that every student is suitably challenged. No rigid, one-size-fits-all approach — this is a tailored learning experience designed to meet students where they are and push them forward.
