Madison graduated as Salutatorian from John Burroughs High School and continues to resent the Valedictorian (he cheated!). She went on to graduate with honors from NYU, where she double majored in Math and Drama, and thus spent her time balancing the analysis of complex mathematical functions with rolling on the floor, pretending to be a cockroach in experimental theatre classes.

Alongside her love for the performing arts, Madison has always nurtured a passion for education, a drive inspired by those who raised her: her mother, who works in special education, and her grandmother, who runs a charity for children with autism. Many of her childhood years were spent playing teacher, leading her stuffed animals to greatness. As both a first-generation American and a first-generation college student, Madison learned a great deal during the application process. As a GEO academic supervisor and senior member of the Student Journey & College Advising program, Madison is eager to help demystify the college application process for her students.

Now a grown-up educator, Madison has taught in classrooms both large and small and tutored one-on-one for several years. She strives to bring her artistic sensibilities into her teaching, leading engaging sessions that nourish curiosity and encourage the love of learning. When she’s not tutoring, Madison continues to chase after her wildest dreams, writing and performing in plays and musicals which have been seen by audiences in New York City, London, and at the esteemed Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a certified globe-trotter who has resided in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York City, and London, Madison continues her pursuit of life’s grand question: where is the sparkliest place on Earth? (Now accepting possible answers!)
