PSAT Test Prep
The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) serves as both an early diagnostic and a gateway to the National Merit Scholarship Program. Taken in the fall of 9th or 10th grade, it offers students a low-pressure opportunity to experience a standardized testing environment while identifying their strengths and areas for growth.
At Grey Eyed Owl, PSAT preparation is folded elegantly into the larger academic journey. We teach students to see the PSAT not merely as a test, but as a map — one that reveals the intellectual terrain ahead. Using the results as a launching point, tutors craft targeted interventions in reading, grammar, and math, helping students shore up foundational gaps and build critical test-taking habits. The PSAT becomes more than preparation for the SAT; it becomes a lens through which students see themselves as scholars in formation.
