Henry graduated from Dartmouth College in 2021 with a dual degree in Engineering and Computer Science. Blessed with an ear for mathematical harmonics, Henry concurrently pursued his love of music by completing a minor in the subject; singing with the Dartmouth Aires a cappella group; and forming a rock band called Shark (fins up!). In his senior year, Henry was elected music director of the Aires.

After four years braving the New Hampshire cold, Henry moved to sun-soaked Los Angeles to pursue his passion for making noise. As sunrise surfs and afternoon orchestral composition proved insufficient for filling his voracious appetite, Henry accepted a job writing code as a full-stack mobile app developer. Today, when he’s not evangelizing his passion for Math with GEO students, Henry continues to balance his time between athletics, AI-driven business innovations, and composes orchestral music for Hans Zimmer’s production company, Bleeding Fingers.

As the oldest of four siblings, Henry spent many evenings in high school guiding his younger brother and sisters through their homework. This early teaching experience stayed with him, and in 2022, he found himself drawn back to tutoring while searching for an analytical complement to his creative work in music. Henry feels fortunate to have found his place with the GEO family, where he can share his enthusiasm for problem-solving and hopefully inspire the next generation of scientists, artists, and entrepreneurs. Having worked with the Dartmouth Admissions office, Henry also spearheads Grey Eyed Owl’s Student Journey & College Advising program.

Outside of tutoring and composing, Henry enjoys reading epic novels and is always game for a surf on the Pacific. He cherishes the opportunity to connect with students and help them build their academic confidence, much as he once did with his siblings around the kitchen table.
