A native of the Boston area, Anthony’s early years were marked by an energetic refusal to sit still—literally. He ran everywhere, and by the time he was 13, Anthony hadn’t yet figured out how to walk properly. This boundless energy eventually led Anthony to run up the road to Harvard, where he became the first long jumper to win the Ivy League indoor championship since 1982.
While at Harvard, Anthony's interests expanded to filmmaking, music, and education. He took advantage of Harvard’s camera equipment to shoot footage of his track team (shh…don’t tell the film department about that), formed a rock band called Edna Mode, and was accepted into Berkeley’s graduate program for a Master’s in Education.
Just days after a glamorous Zoom graduation, Anthony moved to LA with his bachelor’s degree in Art, Film, and Visual Studies, deferring grad school to pursue his career as a filmmaker and musician. Now, he lives his life as a so-called multi-hyphenate: writer-director-musician-photographer.
After spending nearly two years substituting at various schools across LA’s Westside, Anthony found his true calling in one-on-one private tutoring. Anthony firmly believes that there’s always something meaningful for two people to connect over, if only you take the time to listen. In an age of distraction, disillusionment, and isolation, Anthony hopes to inspire this generation of adolescents to discover joy and curiosity in learning about the world around them. It’s a principle he carries into every project, from his films and photography to his music and teaching.
